Abstract

In the reform era, the lecturers' work ethos needs to be reformulated. This formulation will give a clearer information about lecturers' behavior in teaching and in other activities so that the efforts to speed up the quality of education in the universities in this era will be easier. The formulation of the lecturers' work ethos is demonstrated by dedication in terms of moral and morale dimensions, problem solving skills, human relationships, participation in educational activities, mastery of subject matters, mastery of learning-teaching procedures, research capabilities, and abilities in conducting community services
