Abstract

This study consists of two parts, a survey followed by an experiment. The variables investigated in the survey are the difficulties in mathematics experienced by the elementary school students who study in the morning and those who study in the evening. These difficulties are due to several factors, such as the lack of educational incentive, emotional disturbances, etc. Evening students experience more mathematical difficulties than morning students. The effect of remidial teaching on the students who experienced mathematical difficulties, morning as well as evening, was revealed by the result of the analysis of the data obtained from the experiment.
