Kecenderungan Kepribadian Peserta Didik SMTA di Kotamadya Medan

Abstract

Based on this study it is revealed that the needs of the SMTA students are below the expectation line. Further more the needs that are very dominant in developing qualified human resources sre below average, such as the need: 1) to be high achievers, 2) to behave orderly, 3) to be in deferrence to elders, and 4) to have endurance. Surprisingly the most dominant need is the need to exhibit onself, which is found with female SMTA students from several ethnical background, namely Minang, Chinese, Malay, and Jawa. From the population consisting of all SMTA students in Medan, 568 samples are taken using the purposive random sampling technique.
