Abstract

This study aims at obtaining empirical evidence concerning the success of mothers in developing their children's morality in line with the moral of the Indonesian people who are embracing the Moslem religion. Reffering to this aim a model of a system is being developed, namely the model of interventive educational system, i.e. a moslem education integrated in the informal education at home. This study is conducted within the area of DKI Jakarta and outside this area from April 1994 to January 1995. The instrument used for data collection is a questionnaire and an interview schedule. Concerning the feasibility of the implementation on the field, there is an indication of great support from the head of the villages, the chairperson of the RWs and the leaders of the local PKK.
