Abstract

Influences of Counseling Methods on Environtmental Awareness with regard to Levels of Education. This article reports on a study which examined the influences of counseling methods of demonstration and discussion on envirenmental awareness with regard to levels of education. This ex­perimental research using 2x2 factorial design was carried out on a group of community members in West Jakarta. The data were analyzed using two-way variant analysis and Tukey’s test. The result dem­onstrates the interactional influences between the counseling methods and the levels of education on environmental awareness. The counceling method of discussion is more appropriate for community with high level of education, whereas demonstration is for community members with low level of edu­cation.
