Abstract

The Implementation of Integrated  (under-one-roof) Primary-Junior Secondary Schooling within the Cultural Context of Rumah Betang-Central Kalimantan. This study describes the implemen­tation of integrated primary-junior secondary schooling within the cultural context of Rumah Betang—Central Kalimantan in relation to bureaucratic structure, resources, and communication. This qualitative study was carried out in three sites. The results show that clear standards, intensive coordination, and the empowerment of human resources in view of the cultural values of Rumah Betang could lead to effective implementation of integrated (under-one-roof) primary-junior secondary schooling.
