Model Pendidikan Kecakapan Hidup sebagai Alternatif Mengurangi Angka Kemiskinan

Abstract

A  Model  for  Life  Skill  Education  as  an  Alternative  to  Eradicate  Poverty. This  study aims to find out the distribution of drop-out children interested in joining trainings, the description of training  needs, the appropriateness of worksheets, the criteria of effective  trainings and the effective training model. Involving all the population of these children, this study was carried out in two stages. The first stage was in the form of survey utilizing open questions, where as the second one employed qualitative methods. The results indicate that the drop-out children were enthusiastic in participating in the trainings which they selected based on the possibility whether the trainings offered increasing income.
