Abstract

The focus of this action research was to improve teaching quality by using cooperative learning utilizing modules. A number of techniques were employed to collect the data: tests (to examine students’ achivement and misconceptions), documentation (to record learning-related notes in the classroom) and observation (to document sytematically students’s behaviors). The results show that cooperative learning with the use of moduls can minimize misconception of psysics concepts, can improve learning activities, and can improve students’ achievement.
