Penguasaan Konsep Fisika, Penggunaan Media Musik, dan Gaya Belajar Siswa

Abstract

Abstract: Mastery of Physics Concepts, Use of Music, and Learning Styles. The focus of this is to examine the students’ mastery of physics concepts in relation to the use of music and learning styles. Using a 2 x 3 factorial design, this study involved 60 Year-8 students. The research instrument in the form of a multiple-choice test yielded a .85 reliability coefficient, and the students’ test scores on phy- sics concepts had a .85 reliability index. The results of analysis of variance (ANOVA) indicate that the use of music influenced significantly the students’ mastery of physics concepts, that students’ learning styles affected their mastery of physics concepts, and that there was a significant interactional effect be- tween the use of music and learning styles on mastery of physics concepts.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep fisika siswa SMP ditinjau dari model pembelajaran musik dan gaya belajar. Penelitian diimplementasikan dengan desain faktorial 2 x 3. Sampel penelitian adalah 60 siswa kelas VIII SMP. Instrumen penelitian dengan reliabilitas = 0,835, dan tes hasil pemahaman konsep fisika bentuk pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas dengan koefisien reliabilitas = 0,85. Analisis data menggunakan analysis of varians dua arah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan media musik terhadap pengua- saan konsep fisika, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan gaya belajar siswa terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika, dan terdapat pengaruh interaktif yang signifikan media musik dan gaya belajar terhadap pengua- saan konsep fisika.
