Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja, Kepemimpinan dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Kepala Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the effects of work environment, leadership and working motivation on the performance of state elementary school principals in Kramat Jati, a subdistrict of East Jakarta. The research was conducted by using a survey method with path analysis. The sample consisted of 59 principals of state elementary schools selected by using a simple random sampling technicque. The results of the research are as follows: 1) there is a direct effect of the work environment on the working motivation, 2) there is a direct effect of leadership on the working motivation, 3) there is a direct effect of the work environment on the performance of the principals, 4) there is a direct effect of the leadership on the performance of the principals, and 5) there is a direct effect of the working motivation on the performance of the principals. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the performance of the state elementary school prinscipals in Kramat Jati, a subdistrict of East Jakarta was significantly influenced by the work environment, leadership, and working motivation.

Tujuan penelitian  ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh lingkungan kerja, kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja kepala Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Kramat Jati Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan analisis jalur (path analysis) yang menganalisis keterkaitan antar variabel terhadap variabel lainnya. Sampel penelitian dengan teknik simple random sampling adalah 59 kepala sekolah dari populasi terjangkau 75 kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) terdapat pengaruh langsung lingkungan kerja terhadap motivasi kerja, (2) terdapat pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan terhadap motivasi kerja, (3) terdapat pengaruh langsung lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah, (4) terdapat pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah, (5) terdapat pengaruh langsung motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah. Disimpul­kan  bahwa kinerja kepala Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Kramat jati dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh lingkungan kerja, kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja.
